Client: Girls Who Code



We concepted, produced, named and branded the Webby Award-winning campaign, SISTERH>>D, which took the form of a visual album comprised of eight video (tracks) including music videos, animated interviews, narrative shorts and comedy sketches exploring a different aspect of modern sisterhood, rooted in activism. The campaign connected the Girls Who Code mission — to empower young girls and close the gender gap in tech — with the larger picture of what girls and women are capable of when they band together, and won’t take no for an answer.

Ode


This track puts authority figures into the role of an interviewer, posing questions to emerging leaders of modern sisterhood. Conversations include former President of Planned Parenthood Cecile Richards, Founder of non-profit PERIOD.org Nadya Okamoto, Grammy Award-winning Beninese singer-songwriter Angelique Kidjo, first transgender member of the British Labour Party Lily Madigan, activist Little Miss Flint Mari Copeny, CEO and founder of Code to Inspire Fereshteh Forough, and Girls Who Code alumni Vivian Phung.
