Client: Girls Who Code

We concepted, produced, named and branded the Webby Award-winning campaign, SISTERH>>D, which took the form of a visual album comprised of eight video (tracks) including music videos, animated interviews, narrative shorts and comedy sketches exploring a different aspect of modern sisterhood, rooted in activism. The campaign connected the Girls Who Code mission — to empower young girls and close the gender gap in tech — with the larger picture of what girls and women are capable of when they band together, and won’t take no for an answer.

The Anthem

The SISTERHOOD Anthem track brings together Club Mickey Mouse’s first rapper Regan Aliyah, Nigerian-American rapper Chika, and singer/songwriter/producer Tiffany Gouché to reimagine one of the most arresting and unmistakably groovy activist anthems of all-time, “Ooh, Child,” with new lyrics for a new generation of changemakers.
